NY1’s "Finding Home" segment features animals up for adoption around the five boroughs.

This week, we'd like to introduce you to 8-year-old Zion. He's an energetic pup who likes to explore while out on long walks. He's also great on a leash. 

Head scratches and spending time around people are his favorite things.

Also featured this week is 8-year-old Vulpix. This cat is a snuggle superstar with a warm and gentle spirit. 

Handlers say he has a signature move: stretching his paws out like he's tapping you on the shoulder, just to say hello.
